kiln opening 2016

We are very excited to have just wrapped up our annual wood-firing.  We had a fun and hard-working crew here this past week helping us feed the fire for 96 continuous hours!

Next week, we'll open the kiln, which is now slowly cooling, and reveal the 800+ new pieces.

Pottery, pies, hot drinks, live music, and general merriment under our scenic Kiln Barn.

This go-round, we have made a variety of fermenting crocks, mason jar-style cups + utensil crocks, butter keepers, coffee and tea mugs, beer steins, bowls of all sizes, plates, vases and more.
